Nana Yaw Osei Bonsu
Nana Yaw Osei Bonsu is a research executive with over 8 years of practical experience in research, project management, training, monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL). He specialises in business development, qualitative and quantitative M&E, survey design, data collection management, and capacity building. He is an expert in research methods with vast experience in qualitative research. Over the years, Nana Yaw has been involved in several research assignments (baseline, mid-term, endline/impact assessment) for both local and international organisations such as Oxford Policy Management (UK), Nordic Consulting Group (Australia), Technoserve, Plan International, Care International, DAI International and Winrock International. Through his practice, he has developed the capacity and skill to carry out independent economic research and surveys and supervise teams for field data collection. He also has hands on experience in developing evaluation frameworks and evaluating social projects, results-based management, project implementation and reporting on outcomes and impacts. He also has the ability to work in diverse setting with public, private and NGO sectors and to convey research results to non-technical stakeholders and generate interest in the use of M&E data/results for programmatic improvements. Nana Yaw looks back on a proven business and organisational development capacity in SMEs. He has strong analytical skills due to his sociological focus in socio-economic and business development studies.
