The Outgrower and Value Chain Fund (OVCF) is a refinancing instrument for filling the gap of providing finance for medium and long term agricultural activities. In order to acquire intimate knowledge on: i) typology of end -beneficiaries of the schemes, ii) their current livelihood/social status before and after the project, iii) measurement of discernible impacts ‘with’ the schemes over time, and iv) facilitate tracking of the implementation of the OVCF approved schemes and progress made towards attainment of objectives and goals of the fund, as articulated in the M&E Framework, a web-based operational M & E system needed to be designed.

JMK was tasked to develop a comprehensive web-based M&E system and support the IT department to develop an electronic database system.
